IPC-A-600 Certification
Marq-One provides training on IPC A-600, the industry standard for evaluating the visual acceptance criteria of bare rigid & flexible PCB’s.
What is IPC A-600?
IPC A-600 is an industry standard for evaluating the visual acceptance criteria of bare rigid and flexible printed circuit boards.
Marq-One’s training course defines the three classes of electronic assemblies and then details the requirements and acceptance criteria for each class.
For printed boards in the aerospace, defence and motorsport industries, the requirement for high performance and high reliability is the highest it can be. This theory-based course will help you understand what to look for, and what is or is not acceptable on your printed boards.
The IPC-A-600 standard is aimed at those who are responsible for quality and reliability of bare rigid and flexible printed circuit boards so they can ensure products meet the highest quality standards.
Job roles that should consider this training are Supplier Quality Engineers, Assembly Technicians and Quality Inspectors.
If you’re looking for more basic solder or handling training for your team, please consider Marq-One’s electronics training courses.
During the duration of Marq-One’s IPC A-600 course you will explore a variety of printed board elements including:
- Cleanliness Testing
- Externally Observable Characteristics
- Internally Observable Characteristics
- Other requirements
Training can be delivered on-site at your business or at Marq-One’s dedicated training centre so you can upskill your team in the most cost-effective and efficient way for your business.
For either option Certificates will be provided on successful completion of the course. The certification course usually takes 3 days and is valid for 2 years. You can recertify within 3 months before expiry but if your certificate expires, you’ll need to take the full course again.
