MG Chemicals 838AR carbon paint consists of a 1-part, solvent-based acrylic lacquer, pigmented with highly conductive carbon powder. It is smooth, durable, and abrasion resistant. It can be easily applied by brush or spray. It has a quick dry time, with no heat cure necessary. It adheres strongly to most injection-molded plastics, such as ABS, PVC, nylon and polycarbonate. It provides strong corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in marine environments.

This conductive paint is excellent for use as grounding paint, electrical contact paint, or carbon shielding paint in low frequency RFI shielding applications. It is perfect for shielding metal detectors and other devices where a metal-filled conductive paint would cause malfunction. 838AR-340G replaces MG Chemicals 838-340G conductive coating. Before applying this product to plastic, clean the surface with IPA.

This product is supplied in a 12ml Jar, 850ml Can and a 3.6L Can.
838AR is also available in aerosol and conductive pen formats.
